WARRANTY CONDITIONS Nortec brand devices

  1. General provisions
The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects revealed during the warranty period when using the device in accordance with its intended use, operating instructions and safety regulations.
The warranty is 24 months from the date of sale of the device, unless the commercial offer, contract, invoice or warranty card states otherwise.
The Guarantor decides each time on the manner of guarantee implementation.
The occurrence of a fault does not constitute grounds for requesting the replacement of the entire device if the fault can be effectively removed.
  2. Warranty conditions
The device must be installed by authorized persons or companies with appropriate technical qualifications, the surface and power supply installations must be prepared, the device must be used in accordance with its intended purpose, maintenance and inspections must be performed as required by the instructions, the device must be used in accordance with the applicable operating instructions, the device must not be used after any failure symptoms have occurred, the device must not be modified in any way or the safety systems must not be tampered with, and the Guarantor must be allowed to carry out diagnostics.
At the Guarantor's request, the Buyer is obligated to provide documentation of the installation and inspections performed. If improper installation, lack of required maintenance, or failure to perform periodic inspections are identified, and these circumstances contributed to the damage, the complaint will be deemed unfounded.
  1. How to carry out warranty repairs
    Lifts and devices requiring assembly
Lifts and devices requiring permanent installation are repaired at their place of use. If the device was installed by Guarantor , a recognized warranty claim covers: parts, labor, diagnostics, service arrival in Poland.
If the installation was performed by the Buyer or another entity, all service visits remain chargeable even in the event of a valid warranty claim.
In such a case, the warranty covers only the parts found to be defective, while the costs of: travel, diagnostics, checking the correctness of assembly, disassembly, adjustment, and restarting are borne by the Buyer in accordance with the applicable price list.

    Other devices besides lifts

Devices other than lifts are generally diagnosed and repaired at the Guarantor's service center. This allows for faster diagnosis, more efficient repair, and full testing of the device before it is returned. If a warranty claim is accepted, the Guarantor will repair the device free of charge and return it to the Buyer at its own expense.
If the complaint is rejected, the Buyer will be responsible for the cost of diagnostics, repair, and return shipping. On-site service for devices that can be sent for repair is available only by prior arrangement and is a paid service.
  2. Warranty exclusions

The guarantor may request additional information or diagnostics before referring the product to a service center.
Starting diagnostics or sending a service does not mean that the complaint is automatically accepted.

  4. Receipt of the device and user obligations
The buyer is obliged to check the condition of the shipment upon receipt.
Any visible transport damage should be reported to the carrier and the Seller immediately upon receipt. If the device is subject to the regulations of the Office of Technical Inspection, the user is responsible for reporting the device, obtaining a permit for operation, and performing the required tests.
